Welcome to Aloha Junction B&B; and thank you for visiting our website. We hope you will join us and include us in your exciting travels on the Big Island.
The highlight of your travels will undoubtedly be the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. If you are looking for accommodations nnear the park, then we have what you're looking for.
The ALOHA JUNCTION B&B; provides spacious rooms, kitchen facilities, kitchenettes, living and dining rooms, plus lovely fresh, breakfasts for people with 'hungry' appetites.
You should plan on staying at least 1-2 nights ain order to take in all that the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has to offer. You especially want to schedule a night hike to see the lava glowing in the Haleamaumau Crater. There is much to do and see in this amazing Park.
The Aloha Junction is located at 19-4037 Olapalapa Road, a private road between the Volcano Store and the Volcano Post Office. It is wonderfully peaceful, cool and quiet here...accenting the ancient sacredness of Hawaii's favorite goddess of fire, Madame Pele might. May she caress and embrace you here too!

- The Aloha Junction B&B; has the ideal location! Cool and uncrowded, it is less than 1 mile from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park entrance.
Inside the heart of the Village you will find a variety of interesting restaurants and shops. If you get up early enough like around 7AM, a trip to the Sunday Volcano Farmers' Market always promises a plethora of fresh, local foods, used camping gear, and small art treasures to bring home for gifts.
We feel this Volcano area is such a powerful and special place we can't leave and have lived here over 40 years each. It is alive with spirit, molten lava, culture and "mana". Even though this Park is considered a safe, "drive-in" Park, we do urge you to always exercise caution and obey all signs in the National Park. The Park Headquarters has numbeous daily movies of recent volcano eruptions for free in the auditorium where you can also get the latest, up-to-date information on the most recent lava flows directly from the Rangers.
Don't mess this powerful force of nature. We love it - and so will too. Plan for at least a 2-day stay if you want to see the Park in the Dark and catch all the other activities the Park has to offer during the day. - Rooms/Suites
- All 5 suites come with private baths; keyed, private entrances; kitchenettes with microwaves, coffee makers, and refrigerators; WIFI capability and covered lanais with over-sized stuffed chairs and tables.
Pele's Suite:
This is a large 16 x 20 room turned into a master bedroom. This room has both a king-sized bed and a queen all made from natural wood harvested from the Tsugi cedars on this property. It has a very warm and special feel to it. There is a compact fridge, microwave, tables and chairs, plus an adjoining lanai with the Garden Jacuzzi only a few footsteps away! A favorite for many returning guests and families because it connects to Peacock Room.!
The Garden Suite:
This suites is large enough to hold two queen-sized beds and a futon, if necessary. It has a mini-kitchenette with bar sink, small fridge,microwave, coffee maker, tables and chairs. A large shared lanai opens up from your French Doors where large rattan chairs await a relaxing moment from you.
The Alpine Suite:
This room has two double beds, mini kitchenette, and private entrance through French Doors from the large covered deck.
The Heritage Room
This room has a King-sized bed and private bath. It's said to be the quietest corner of house with Berber carpeting and of course private entrance & coffee maker.
Peacock Room: Private entrance, bathroom & lanai. - Rates
- $135/dbl plus 14.24% state taxes
Additional Guests: $25 per person.

- We offer a variety of freshly prepared breads, meats & fruits for breakfasts which is served in the dining room around 8am.

- Innkeepers live onsite in separate quarters behind the B&B; and are available by cell phone day and night. (808-987-6499). We make every effort to greet each guest personally, check them in and get them settled. After a short orientation around the house, you'll receive a set of keys aso that you can come and go as you wish.
