It is a perfect getaway for those who want to experience Hawaii more intimately, without feeling like a “tourist.†Fall asleep to a symphony of crickets and chirping frogs and wake up to the sound of birds in our luscious gardens. This quiet location offers small towns, delicious dining and quaint shops. We’re just 15 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes south of Kailua town.
You are our honored guests, greeted with Aloha and fresh cut flowers in your room. Start your day with a healthy Hawaiian style breakfast featuring a different warm entrée each day, fruits and juice right from the garden. We’re happy to help plan your trip and share our beach gear, towels, boogie boards, etc. We also rent mermaid tails.
Wifi is available at no extra cost, but we encourage you to take a break from TV and electronics during your stay.

- We are located in Kona on the big island of Hawaii.
At about 1200 feet elevation, we enjoy the cool breezes in the evening, tropical sun during the day and just a few minutes drive to Kealakekua Bay (Marine Refuge). The hiking trail head to Kealakekua Bay is ¼ mile away from the bed and breakfast and a 1.8 mile hike to the ocean. This trail is the only way to the protected reef unless you obtain a kayak permit or take an excursion like the Fairwinds catamaran. Wild dolphins and snorkeling await you in these South Kona bays. Nestled in the coffee belt, sacred sites, the city of refuge and Peace Garden invite your exploration. Dive into the clearest waters in the islands – at night with the giant Mantas and by day along the coastline.

- Mermaid Room The traveler seeking independence and privacy will love the private entrance, private bathroom and its own lanai.
Moonlight Hideaway Room This Moonlight Hideaway overlooks our tropical gardens. It's luxury is very inviting after a long day of adventure.
Garden Room. This is our largest and coolest room with desk and sofa. It has it's own large bathroom and access to the outdoor shower out your back door. Private entry. Arise to a symphony of tropical bird songs after a peaceful night's sleep. "Fresh, bright and inviting.".
Seahorse Room A romantic underwater retreat with natural wood walls and vaulted ceilings, it's impeccably appointed and inviting. If teal is your favorite color, this room is for you!
The Empress Room This spacious room and large bath is only available for special events and retreats upon request. - Rates

Payments are made by various credit cards online or over the phone at the time of the reservation. You will receive a confirmation with the exact amount for your accommodations.
2 night minimum stay or $35 cleaning charge for one-nighters.
$25 additional charge for additional guests (beyond the first 2). This only works in the garden room which can sleep 4 guests.

Cancellation policy: The guest will be refunded 50% of the total price if they cancel 30 days or more before planned arrival date. There is no refund for cancellations within 30 days of arrival date.
No-shows: No refund to guest. Innkeeper is paid as though the guest had stayed.
Cancellation of any booking will only be accepted in writing or by email.
GUESTS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE OUT APPROPRIATE TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
